The MEP is on a working visit to Uzbekistan.
“In recent years, we have seen significant progress in the EU-Uzbekistan bilateral relations. Uzbekistan plays a key role in Central Asia, and I believe that together we are committed to working for the promotion of peace and stability in the region. We live in difficult times, the world is divided, but Uzbekistan is the most central country in Central Asia and therefore has a key role in creating regional integration. We will continue working for even stronger relations between governments, but also between universities, cultural circles, and citizens,” Kyuchyuk said to students at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the country.
