Ilhan Kyuchyuk, Member of the European Parliament, organised his second visit for visitors from Bulgaria

Students from the Academic Society of MRF in Blagoevgrad and young people from Dobrich took part in the visit

Ilhan Kyuchyuk, Member of the European Parliament (MEP), organised his second visit for visitors from Bulgaria, within which students from the Academic Society of MRF (Movement for Rights and Freedoms) in Blagoevgrad and young people from Dobrich visited the European Parliament.

Throughout the visit, the young people had the opportunity to take a closer view of the work of the institution, to visit a lecture on the history and functioning of the European Union, as well as to meet the Bulgarian Members of the European Parliament from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms.

Talking about his work and obligations as a member of the European Parliament, Ilhan Kyuchyuk paid special attention to the fact that young people had a significant role in the formation of policies in the various spheres. “The young person is certainly not just an observer; on the contrary, he is an important part of what is happening in the political and public life. Furthermore, his word counts”, he commented.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk appealed the young visitors of the European Parliament to be active participants in the public life of their country and to strive and change the things that need to be changed with creativity and enthusiasm.
This is the second visit for visitors from Bulgaria that Mr. Ilhan Kyuchyuk organises within a little more than a month. According to the words of the MEP, these types of visits are particularly important for the implementation of effective and beneficial communication between the institution and the citizens of the European Union.
