Speech on the implementation of the Bologna Process

Dear Mr. President,

Dear colleagues,

I would like to join my colleagues who congratulated Mrs. Lybacka for the balanced report.

It is not possible for us to give high mark about the progress in the field of Higher education achieved through reforms in the framework of the Boulogne process, namely by higher quality of the education, improvement in mobility, internationalization of the knowledge and many more achievements of the Boulogne process.

Dear colleagues, in the 21 century knowledge is a resource, which exhausts quicker than every engineering. That is why I think that the European Higher education must target the highest level of knowledge through constant modernization of the educational study program.

In order to achieve sustainable integration of the youth in the labour market the study program should implement opportunities to combine the knowledge with the professional skills, to encourage entrepreneurial skills, to use the potential of the new technologies and digital transition aiming to develop wide range of skills.

Encouragement of the dialogue between universities and researching centers is highly needed.
