Screening of the movie “Radiogram” in the EP, initiated by Ilhan Kyuchyuk

The screenplay, written by Rouzie Hassanova, has two interesting central points. One is the power of music, as we follow little Ahmet listening to glorious, forbidden rock’n’roll on an old radio. The other is the instinctive reaction against abuse and oppression: the local communist representative, Zahariev, seems willing to do anything in order to comply with a decision by the party asking all Muslims in the region to change their names to Christian ones.

At times of new and strong turning towards right, chauvinistic politics of closing individual societies within EU, I am really happy that our ALDE Party – Liberals and Democrats for Europe member Naša stranka nominated Borisa Falatar.

Migration can only be tackled by the EU as a whole

Ilhan Kyuchyuk: What is lacking in Brexit talks is what the British are normally known for, pragmatism and sure-footed diplomacy

Multicultural dialogue and human rights are part of my political DNA and I will not stop supporting the ongoing battle of the political centre against populists on either fringe of the political spectrum. We have to counter their lies with truth and their efforts to mystify the political elite in Europe with clarity of mind and word.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk has been re-elected as ALDE Party Vice President

"My re-election by the ALDE Congress for a second term as Vice President is a great honour and an exclusive responsibility. I am proud of what we have achieved, but, at the same time, I am looking very seriously forward to what we have to do. The European perspective of the Western Balkans, the security, peace and prosperity in Europe - these topics should continue to be the main points in our agenda", Ilhan Kyuchyuk said.
